Key Responsibilities:

- SQL Query Development & Optimization:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Optimize existing queries to enhance performance and efficiency when dealing with large datasets.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust SQL-based solutions.
- ETL Process Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data between various systems, ensuring data is properly cleaned and organized.
- Data Validation & Troubleshooting:
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Database Maintenance & Improvement:
- Maintain and improve existing databases while ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to keep systems efficient.
- Documentation:
- Document code, processes, and data models to support scalability and maintainability for future development.
- Support for BI Tools:
- Work with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and support the development of dashboards and reports as needed for analytics purposes.

Requirements:

- Experience:
- 3+ years of proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar data engineering role.
- Strong SQL Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL,



Oracle).
- Proficiency in writing complex queries and working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with performance tuning to optimize queries.
- ETL Tools & Data Pipelines:
- Experience designing and implementing ETL processes to move and transform data.
- Data Warehousing & BI:
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience with BI reporting and data analytics.
- Database Security & Backup:
- Solid understanding of database security, as well as backup and recovery procedures.
- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail:
- Robust problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills:
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

- Cloud Databases:
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS, Google BigQuery, or Azure SQL.
- Scripting/Analytics Tools:
- Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or other scripting/analytics tools for data processing and reporting.
