About the Role

The Lead Generation and Business Development role involves identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and managing the sales process from initial contact to order conversion. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their technical and commercial requirements are met.

Responsibilities
- Identify prospective customers in chemical, pharmaceutical, engineering, electroplating, cable, steel, power and other process industries
- Generate leads through IndiaMART, LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, industrial directories, references and market research
- Contact new prospects and introduce Kamal Group’s products, services and technical capabilities




- Connect with purchase managers, plant heads, project managers, maintenance heads, consultants, contractors and other decision-makers
- Identify recent projects, plant expansions, maintenance requirements, replacement opportunities and vendor-registration opportunities
- Arrange customer meetings, technical discussions, factory visits and site visits
- Develop new geographical markets and industrial applications
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Take complete ownership of assigned leads from the first contact until final closure
- Follow up consistently without waiting for the customer to contact the company
- Work toward monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial or a related engineering discipline is preferred
- Candidates from a non-engineering background may be considered if they have strong indus
