We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer experienced in precision engineering for rugged defence applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design precision mechanical assemblies for electro-optical systems.
- Develop ruggedized enclosures and mounting mechanisms.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and GD&T; documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for machining, fabrication, and production.
- Perform tolerance analysis and design validation.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and qualification.
- Work closely with optics and electronics teams for system integration.
Desired Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or similar 3D CAD software.
- Experience in precision machining and sheet metal components.
- Knowledge of environmental sealing, vibration, shock, and thermal design.
- Understanding of defence standards and manufacturing processes.
- Positive knowledge of GD&T; and production engineering.
