Role Objective
- To develop and scale business with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers, win new programs, manage key accounts, and build long‑term revenue pipelines aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- This is a hands‑on, field‑oriented role focused on RFQs, customer acquisition, and strategic account growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new OEM & Tier‑1 customers
- Handle RFQs, techno‑commercial discussions, negotiations, and nominations
- Build strong relationships with Purchase, Sourcing, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Manage key accounts and ensure repeat and program business
- Coordinate internally with production, tooling, quality, and finance
- Track market opportunities, localisation programs, and current product launches
- Provide sales pipeline, forecasts,
and market intelligence to management
Experience
- 8–12 years in B2B Industrial / Automotive Sales or Business Development
Strong Exposure To
- OEM & Tier‑1 customers
- Injection moulding / plastic components / automotive manufacturing
- Long sales cycles and RFQ‑driven business
Mandatory Industry Exposure
- Plastic Injection Moulding / Polymer Manufacturing
- Automotive or Industrial OEM Supply Chain
Education
- BE / BTech (Mechanical / Plastics / Production preferred)
- MBA (Marketing / Sales preferred)
Key Skills
- OEM sourcing & nomination process knowledge
- RFQ handling and techno‑commercial negotiations
- Customer relationship & account management
- Ability to sell engineering & manufacturing capabilities, not FMCG products
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
