Job Summary

Raj ExpressMedia Pvt.Ltd. is looking for a Head of Technology / Head of Engineering to own technology strategy, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, platform reliability, and technology team building. The role will lead the stabilization of the existing platform and development of Raj Express 2.0, including Website, Mobile Apps, CMS, RENS, AI-assisted workflows and verified content feeds.

Key Responsibilities
- Own website, CMS, APIs, databases, cloud, CDN and production infrastructure.
- Lead architecture, development and delivery of Raj Express 2.0.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, uptime and performance.
- Implement DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, disaster recovery and incident management.
- Lead Cloudflare/WAF, DDoS protection, authentication and security practices.
- Build and lead Backend, Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA and Security teams.
- Drive AI/LLM integration for content, verification, search and newsroom productivity.
- Ensure SEO, Core Web Vitals, Google News readiness and accessibility.




- Manage technology vendors, budgets, roadmap and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with applicable DPDPA and IT Rules 2021 requirements.

Required Technical Skills

Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, React.js, Next.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP, Docker, CI/CD, Cloudflare, WAF, CDN, DDoS protection, REST APIs, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, AI/LLM, SEO & Core Web Vitals.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 45+ years in technology/engineering leadership.
- Proven experience managing high-traffic, consumer-facing production platforms.
- Strong experience in platform modernization, security, reliability and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience building and leading in-house technology teams.
- Digital Media/News/Publishing experience is preferred.
- Solid ownership, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in C
