Role & responsibilities

•Automation Framework Development: Execute, fix, and expand scripts within an in-house BDD framework model, as well as build contemporary web automation suites using Playwright with TypeScript.
•API & Integration Testing: Design and execute robust API testing strategies using Rest Assured (Java/Spring Boot), Rest Template, and Postman.
•Tooling & Utility Creation: Build custom internal utility tools and basic UIs utilizing HTML and Thyme leaf.
•CI/CD & DevOps Orchestration: Set up build plans, configure scheduled triggers, and manage pipelines using Bamboo and Jenkins. Orchestrate advanced workflows using Argo Workflows.
•Code Governance: Actively perform code reviews, check-ins, rebases, and branch management within GIT repositories.
•Observability & Debugging: Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot system behavior and application logs using Grafana Logs.
•AI Collaboration:



Leverage AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server knowledge to optimize testing workflows and engineering efficiency.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams across onsite and offshore locations to deliver high-quality software.

Preferred candidate profile

•Experience: Minimum 8 years of total QA experience, with dedicated strictly to automation engineering.
•Retail Domain Expertise: Deep, end-to-end understanding of the retail ecosystem and overall retail processes. Direct experience working on stacks like ATG Ecommerce, Customer Service Portals, and Microservices applications.
