PURPOSE

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network and system operations, and ensuring smooth functioning of IT services across the organization.

The position is suitable for a fresher or candidate with up to 2 years of relevant experience who has a robust interest in IT support, troubleshooting, networking, and end-user support.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Helpdesk & User Support
- Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, email, printer, and other IT-related issues.
- Receive, record, troubleshoot, and resolve user IT support requests.
- Assist users with computer, laptop, printer, scanner, projector, and other IT equipment.
- Support employees in installation and configuration of required software and applications.




- Provide remote and on-site technical assistance as required.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Manager / IT & ERP Coordinator or external service providers.

Hardware & Software Support
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT devices.
- Assist in operating system installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Install and maintain approved software and applications.
- Maintain records of IT hardware, software, accessories, and assigned assets.
- Assist in identifying hardware requirements and replacement needs.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty, repairs, and technical support when required.

C. Network & Connectivity Support
- Provide basic support for LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot basic IP address, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity-related problems.
