Job description Key Responsibilities Patient care Provide direct care to patients monitor their vital signs and condition and implement care plans as established by physicians Medication and procedures Administer medications and injections perform technical procedures and assist with medical exams and treatments according to physician orders Record keeping Maintain accurate and detailed medical records including documenting medications and treatments Patient education Educate patients and their families on health conditions treatment plans and disease prevention Collaboration Work closely with doctors nurses and other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care Ward management Supervise and manage general ward activities such as patient admissions discharges and bed making Care planning Develop and implement patient care plans often coordinating with other specialists and healthcare providers Emergency response Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care when necessary Required skills and qualifications Education A degree in nursing approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council Professional knowledge Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council NMC and have knowledge of clinical operations and procedures Skills Strong skills in communication problem-solving and empathy as well as physical stamina Compassion and communication Ability to show compassion and communicate effectively with patients and their families Clinical skills Proficiency in clinical tasks such as taking vital signs administering injections and wound care Organizational skills Ability to manage workloads prioritize tasks and maintain a protected and hygienic environment Technical skills Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment Call or whatsapp to (phone hidden) Job Types Full time Permanent Pay From 15 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Purasawalkam Chennai Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Diploma Preferred Shift availability Day Shift Required Night Shift Required Overnight Shift Required Work Location In person
