Requisition ID191700 Date posted12 02 2025 Work Location ModelOn-site Flex Work LocationBangalore-IN-Bangalore Work CountryIndiaThe group you ll be a part of The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam We drive performance productivity safety and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes The impact you ll make As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam you re designing and defining cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems Your role involves feasibility studies testing and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication You provide the crucial design information needed to shape our technology s packaging In this role you will directly contribute to What you ll do Owning executing medium to high complex Mechanical sub-system system projects to design develop optimize implement design solutions to Robotic Applications Collaborate with both internal and external CFT to ensure the product design meets its objectives validate the design through performance testing obtain approvals via PDR process Conceptualization modeling analysis development documentation test validation of hardware designs associated with new semiconductor equipment Leading program commitments in consistent with established business processes by adhering to all engineering due diligence DFMA DFMEA tolerance calculations FEA - static DFX Contribute to product release in consistent with Lam vision strategies product release roadmap Work with potential suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives Ensures documentation is consistent with SEMI Lam Standards and other standards as applicable ANSI DIN etc as well as best known methods BKMs Performs analytical work in order to characterize and properly specify new and existing designs including stress vibrations and manufacturability Develops execute test plans that generate characterization data sufficient to understand and validate the performance of the design Provide immediate response timely resolution to escalations design related production issues encountered during the pilot as well as HVM build process Provide leadership -
