The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory ensuring proper storage of materials issuing items as per requirement and keeping accurate stock records The role involves coordination with various departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely availability of items Key Responsibilities 1 Inventory Management Receive store and issue materials tools and products Maintain accurate stock levels and update stock registers files Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification Ensure FIFO LIFO methods are followed for material issuance Monitor stock minimum maximum levels and notify when items are low 2 Documentation Record Keeping Prepare GRN Goods Receipt Note issue vouchers and material requisitions Update inventory software or Excel sheets on a daily basis Maintain records of inward outward materials with proper documents Keep all documents properly filed for audit purposes 3 Material Handling Ensure proper labeling stacking and storage of materials Check materials for damage quantity and quality at the time of receipt Coordinate with vendors transporters and internal departments for material flow 4 Coordination Communication Coordinate with Purchase Department for material requirements Provide stock reports to management when required Assist in planning and controlling inventory movements 5 Safety Housekeeping Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store area Ensure materials are stored in compliance with safety norms Use handling equipment like pallets forklifts trolleys safely Skills Qualifications Minimum Qualification 10th 12th ITI Diploma Graduate depending on company need Basic computer skills MS Excel Email Experience in storekeeping inventory management preferred Knowledge of SAP Tally ERP optional but beneficial Solid communication organization and record-keeping skills Ability to lift and move materials when required Work Experience 3-7 years Storekeeper Job Type Permanent Pay 12 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
