Job Title Assistant Garment Merchant Department Merchandising Location Sec 37 Gurgaon Reports To Senior Garment Merchandiser Job Summary The Assistant Garment Merchant supports the merchandising team in product development order execution communication with buyers vendors and ensuring timely delivery of samples and production The role requires solid coordination skills attention to detail and understanding of garment manufacturing processes Key Responsibilities 1 Product Development Sampling Assist in obtaining buyer requirements tech packs and sample details Coordinate with sampling teams for proto fit size set and pre-production samples Follow up on sample approvals with buyers and maintain sample tracking records 2 Order Coordination Support in costing preparing purchase orders and order follow-ups Track fabric trims and accessories sourcing with vendors and suppliers Monitor production status to ensure timelines and quality standards are met 3 Buyer Vendor Communication Maintain daily communication with buyers suppliers and internal teams Share updates approvals and changes with relevant departments Prepare TNA Time Action plans and update them regularly 4 Documentation Reporting Maintain order files costing sheets T A charts and sample logs Prepare status reports WIP Work in Progress reports and shipment updates Ensure correct documentation for buying production and dispatch 5 Quality Compliance Support Coordinate with QA teams regarding sample quality fit issues and production concerns Support teams in resolving quality or delay-related issues promptly Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Fashion Textile or Apparel Merchandising preferred 0-2 years of experience in merchandising or garment industry freshers can apply Basic knowledge of fabrics trims garment construction and production processes Strong communication and follow-up skills Proficiency in MS Office Excel PPT Email communication Ability to multitask stay organized and work under tight timelines Job Type Full-time Pay 16 226 23 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
