Job Title Production Merchandiser Department Merchandising Production Reporting To Production Manager Senior Merchandiser Location Amraiwadi Ahmedabad Employment Type Full-time Job Overview The Production Merchandiser will act as the link between buyers suppliers and the production team The role involves managing sampling approvals production follow-ups and ensuring timely delivery with proper quality and documentation The merchandiser must coordinate with jobbers fabric suppliers accessory vendors and production teams to maintain smooth workflow Key Roles Responsibilities Order Management Understand product requirements and specifications from order sheet tech pack Ensure approvals fabric trims colors PP samples before production starts Production Coordination Prepare and maintain Time Action TNA calendar for each style order Coordinate with job workers vendors and in-house teams for timely production Monitor fabric trim availability issue slips and challans Sampling Approvals Manage sample developments Proto Fit PP Size set etc Arrange approvals from managers and record documentation properly Quality Monitoring Follow up with a quality team for inline midline and final inspections Ensure PP sample bulk production match buyer-approved standards Vendor Jobber Follow-ups Track fabric delivery embroidery printing and stitching jobber timelines Ensure trims and accessories are delivered on time Documentation Reporting Maintain spec sheets cost sheets PP sample folders and production files Update production status reports and share with management Record daily pending approved PP sample handovers Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing process fabric trims stitching finishing Good communication coordination skills buyers vendors internal team Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word documentation Time management and ability to meet deadlines Problem-solving attitude and follow-up ability Knowledge of costing TNA and quality standards Qualifications Experience Graduate Diploma in Fashion Technology Textile Apparel Merchandising 2-5 years of experience in garment merchandising production coordination Experience in women s wear kurti ethnic wear preferred Job Type Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Advantages Provident Fund Work Location In person
