Context Job Purpose We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of HR Product Development to lead the transformation of our Workforce Analytics Insights team in India This role will be pivotal in evolving our function from traditional reporting to delivering scalable data-driven products and solutions that empower HR and business leaders with actionable insights You will lead a team of analysts and senior analysts guiding them through a transformation journey toward advanced analytics data science and productized insights This is a high-impact role for a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of people data and technology Key responsibilities Main responsibilities include but are not limited to Team Leadership Development Lead mentor and grow a team of analysts senior analysts and lead analysts Foster a culture of innovation continuous learning and data-driven decision-making Drive team transformation from ad-hoc and recurring reporting to scalable analytical products Product Development Strategy Define and execute a roadmap for HR data products and self-service analytics tools Translate business needs into scalable repeatable analytics products and dashboards Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture and governance standards Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the HR Product Management team within Workforce Analytics Insights to ensure alignment between product development and customer engagement strategies Collaborate with HR Product Managers to incorporate user feedback prioritize features and enhance the usability and impact of analytics products Work jointly to deliver a seamless experience for HR and business stakeholders from insight generation to product adoption Data Analytics Transformation Streamline data management processes and improve data quality and governance Introduce and scale advanced analytics and data science capabilities within the team Champion the use of predictive analytics machine learning and automation to drive insights Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand key challenges and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and compelling way to non-technical audiences Ad-Hoc Request Management Establish and oversee a structured intake and triage process for all incoming ad-hoc data and reporting requests Ensure timely accurate and prioritized responses to stakeholder needs while balancing long-term product development goals Support the HR Product Management team by providing analytical expertise and capacity to address urgent or high-impact requests Experience Required 8 years of experience in analytics data product development or related fields with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proven experience leading analytics teams and delivering data products in an HR or people analytics context Strong understanding of data architecture data governance and modern analytics platforms e g Power BI Tableau SQL Python R Experience with cloud-based data environments e g Azure AWS GCP is a plus Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills Passion for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business impact Skills Required Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across different regions and time zones Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams across diverse regions Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent planning skills Works well under pressure with the ability to work at pace in an agile manner delivering outputs in the moment Excellent team player with a collaborative approach Influence with a positive and qualified attitude Experience in workforce analytics HRIS or people data systems Familiarity with data science techniques and tools e g machine learning NLP
