Job Title Laparoscopy Technician Department Operation Theatre Surgical Services Hospital Name UNITTAS Multispeciality Hospital Location Tambaram Salary based on experience 2years experience Contact Nandha HR Manager- (phone hidden) Key Responsibilities Prepare laparoscopic equipment instruments and consumables prior to surgery Assist surgeons and OT staff during laparoscopic procedures Sterilize disinfect and maintain laparoscopic instruments and scopes Calibrate test and ensure functionality of camera systems light sources insufflators and monitors Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly during surgery Maintain proper inventory of laparoscopic instruments accessories and consumables Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Document usage maintenance and service of laparoscopic instruments Coordinate with biomedical engineers for repairs and preventive maintenance Provide guidance training to junior staff on handling laparoscopic equipment Qualifications Skills Diploma Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology Laparoscopy Technology or equivalent Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Laparoscopy Technician freshers can be considered for junior roles Knowledge of laparoscopic instruments OT protocols and sterilization techniques Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment such as insufflators telescopes and camera systems Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in surgical settings Work Environment Operation Theatre Surgical Department Requires standing for long hours and quick responsiveness during surgeries Shift duties and emergency support may be required Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
