Hostel Warden Female Job Location Patna The Ambedkar Group of Institutions is seeking dedicated and responsible Female Hostel Warden to oversee the management supervision and welfare of students residing in our hostels The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills an empathetic approach and prior experience in managing hostel facilities effectively Key Responsibilities 1 Supervision and Security Ensure the safety and security of hostel residents Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises to maintain a secure setting Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents and implement necessary actions 2 Resident Welfare Foster a welcoming positive and supportive living atmosphere for residents Provide emotional support and address personal or interpersonal issues raised by residents Mediate conflicts among residents and encourage peaceful resolutions 3 Rules and Discipline Enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain discipline Educate residents about hostel policies and set clear expectations Address violations of rules through appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions 4 Administrative Duties Maintain up-to-date records of residents including their personal details attendance and any incidents Coordinate check-in room allocation and check-out processes for residents Liaise with hostel management and other departments for smooth administration 5 Health and Safety Conduct regular checks to ensure the hostel meets health and safety standards Educate residents about fire safety and evacuation procedures Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations by coordinating with relevant authorities 6 Guidance and Counseling Offer guidance to residents dealing with academic emotional or personal challenges Refer residents to professional counseling or support services when necessary Act as a mentor to create a nurturing and motivating environment 7 Emergency Preparedness Prepare and implement emergency response plans Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services during crises Train residents in basic emergency protocols and procedures 8 Maintenance Oversight Monitor and report maintenance needs of hostel facilities including rooms common areas and utilities Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs Ensure hostel premises are clean hygienic and well-maintained at all times Qualifications and Skills Minimum Requirements A Bachelor s Degree Graduation Candidates with a background in Hotel Management will be preferred A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar role within a reputable organization Key Competencies Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Empathy patience and the ability to handle diverse personalities Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures Proficiency in maintaining records and administrative tasks Job Type and Benefits Job Type Full-time 24-hour stay-in role Benefits Lodging and food will be provided by the institution Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Siwan Bihar Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Experience security 3 years Required Work Location In person
