We are looking for an International Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition for our offshore software development services in the US and UK markets. This is not a staffing/resource sales role you will be selling software development projects, dedicated development teams, and technology solutions to startups, SMBs, and mid-market companies. The ideal candidate has consultative selling experience, is comfortable engaging with CTOs/Founders/Product leaders, and can confidently discuss technical scope, delivery models, and estimation.

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the US/UK markets through LinkedIn outreach, cold email campaigns, referrals, and platforms like Upwork/Clutch
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads (startups, SMBs, mid-market companies needing software development support)
- Represent the company at relevant online communities, forums, and (where applicable) industry events

Discovery & Solutioning




- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements business goals, technical needs, current team gaps
- Collaborate with technical/delivery leads to scope engagements accurately (dedicated team, fixed-bid, or T&M; model)
- Translate client requirements into a transparent, compelling technical and commercial proposal

Proposal, Estimation & Negotiation
- Prepare SOWs, technical proposals, and effort/cost estimates in collaboration with delivery/technical teams
- Present and defend proposals directly to client stakeholders (CTOs, Founders, Product Owners)
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, and contract terms; close MSAs/SOWs

Client Relationship & Account Growth
- Own client relationships end-to-end through onboarding and early delivery phases
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities (additional modules, team scale-up, new projects)
- Convert early clients into long-term accounts and referenceable
