A billing cashier manages customer checkouts, processes payments, issues receipts, and reconciles daily cash drawers. They operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, cards, and digital wallets, and resolve basic pricing or billing questions to ensure a smooth checkout experience. Key Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Scan items or enter charges, collect cash, credit cards, or digital payments, and give accurate change.
- Manage Billing & POS: Generate accurate bills, invoices, and receipts using computerized POS software.
- Reconcile Cash Drawers: Count cash at the start and end of shifts, balancing total sales against system logs.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer inquiries regarding prices or totals, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Resolve Discrepancies: Identify and report any cash shortages, billing errors,



or technical register issues to management.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: .Any Degree with computer knowledge.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of prior experience working as a cashier, retail billing clerk, or in customer service.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic POS systems, barcode scanners, and basic computer applications.
- Soft Skills: Strong basic math skills, high integrity, attention to detail, and friendly communication.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
