Job description Job Title Land Use and Geology Expert Location Mohali Experience Fresher Department EMS Qualification Requirements Postgraduate degree in Science with a specialization in Geology Experience Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in land use planning and analysis Proven experience in Understanding and interpreting land use-related policies guidelines and legislation Generation analysis and integration of land use data for various geographical settings including urban semi-urban rural and mixed-use areas GIS-based land use mapping and analysis using modern geospatial tools Working in multidisciplinary teams for environmental impact assessment EIA projects Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of GIS tools and software e g ArcGIS QGIS Skilled in remote sensing spatial analysis and map preparation Familiarity with EIA Notification 2006 MoEFCC guidelines and amendments thereof Proficiency in preparing land use and geological input for Form I IA Form CP Pre-Feasibility Report PFR Terms of Reference ToR proposal Draft and Final EIA EMP reports Working knowledge of Parivesh Portal for online application submission Capable of predicting and quantifying environmental impacts related to land and geology Positive report-writing presentation and communication skills Key Responsibilities Land Use Data Collection and Analysis Conduct site visits for screening surveys and collection of primary land use data Maintain site visit records and logbooks Coordinate and execute baseline environmental monitoring Develop and analyze land use maps for project influence areas using GIS Technical Reporting Prepare and submit Form I IA CP PFR ToR proposal and EIA EMP reports in compliance with the environmental clearance process Coordinate with environmental consultants for input integration Regulatory and Portal Submissions Upload necessary documents and reports on the Parivesh Portal Track application status and respond to queries raised by SEAC SEIAA or EAC Stakeholder Engagement and Presentations Prepare presentations and supporting documents for meetings with SEAC SEIAA and EAC Participate in technical discussions and provide justifications for land use and geological aspects Impact Assessment Assist in predicting land use and geological impacts of proposed projects Contribute to mitigation planning for minimizing adverse impacts Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Application Question s Have you completed Master s of Chemistry Education Master s Preferred Work Location In person
