Land Acquisition and Site Development

- Identify suitable land parcels for greenfield project development in coordination with the BD/PD team
- Lead preliminary due diligence and risk assessment of land status
- Support techno-commercial due diligence with BD/PD teams during site evaluation and bidding
- Ensure land acquisition aligns with project budgets and timelines
- Manage contracting and coordination with land aggregators/developers, in consultation with legal and BD teams
- Supervise site demarcation in coordination with project development
- Ensure timely procurement of land documents from relevant stakeholders for legal due diligence
- Collaborate with legal for finalization of purchase, lease, mutation, and transfer documentation
- Maintain accurate land title records for pooling substations, EHV lines, project offices, and access roads
- Approve work completion certificates as per contract milestones and manage land-related payments
- Ensure smooth land possession and handover to project teams to facilitate timely construction

Right of Way (ROW) Resolution

- Provide expertise to resolve ROW disputes, including negotiations with farmers, legal representatives, and law enforcement authorities




- Work with Construction teams to address ROW issues related to transmission tower erection and associated infrastructure
- Manage permissions, agreements, documentation, and payments related to ROW
- Support legal teams in addressing and mitigating disputes or litigation during project execution

Land Documentation and Compliance

- Maintain custody and control of all land-related documents including ROW, lease, ownership, and mutation papers
- Keep records of validity dates for owned or leased real estate assets
- Develop and implement systems for easy access and retrieval of land documents
- Interface with local authorities (Collector, DM, SDM) for transmission tower-related clearances and issue resolution
- Ensure payment of taxes, levies, and claims in coordination with finance and legal teams

Permitting and Government Liaison

- Support the Project Development team in securing permits and clearances related to land, grid connectivity, and statutory approvals (e.g., AAI, MOD)
- Maintain effective coordination with state and central authorities for regulatory compliance
