HIH Accounting Operations Accounts Payable - Accounting Analyst Position Summary Evernorth is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our emerging Accounting team at our Global Capability Center GCC location in Hyderabad This role offers a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team from the ground up in a fast-growing innovative environment The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail problem solving skills and a commitment to continuous growth and improvement The individual will ensure timeliness accuracy and compliance with accounts payable processes accounting policies and regulatory requirements This role will be a key contributor to the accounts payable team The role will support customers throughout the company to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to Summary of Key Responsibilities Authority Management Tool Updates Process owner supporting updates to the Oracle Authority management tool to remain compliant with SOX controls Daily payment process Support non-standard Accounts Payable batch processes to ensure transactions remain compliant with all applicable processes and controls Daily Accounts Payable activities Performs a broad range of basic Accounting and Accounts Payable functions Audit Support Support audit requests and act as a subject matter expert for various Accounts Payable activities Competencies Skills Problem-Solving Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues efficiently and effectively Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely Adaptability Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and changing environments Technical Proficiency Proficient in accounting software and tools with a robust understanding of accounting operations financial reporting and internal controls Attention to Detail High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work Collaboration Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions and locations Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field required MBA CA ICWA CFA CPA preferred 1-3 years of accounts payable experience Proven experience within accounts payable accounting or finance functions Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced setting and adapt to evolving priorities Experience with ERP systems e g SAP Oracle NetSuite and reporting tools e g Hyperion Oracle EPM About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group creates pharmacy care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people Join us in driving growth and improving lives
