Project Role Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description Develop custom software solutions to design code and enhance components across systems or applications Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs Must have skills Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Good to have skills NA Minimum 12 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary The Oracle Utilities WAM Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end implementation support and optimization of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management solutions The role requires strong leadership stakeholder management solution architecture knowledge and hands-on expertise in WAM modules to drive successful project delivery Roles Responsibilities o Lead and manage Oracle Utilities WAM implementation and support projects o Own solution design system configuration data migration and integration with peripheral systems e g CC B MWM GIS SCADA o Conduct requirement analysis workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions o Oversee WAM configuration including Asset lifecycle management Work Management Inventory Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Mobile integrations o Ensure alignment with utility industry standards and regulatory requirements o Drive best practices in work planning resource optimization asset lifecycle tracking preventive maintenance and reliability management o Manage a team of consultants guide technical and functional resources conduct reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables o Coordinate with cross-functional teams technical architecture integration reporting infrastructure o Manage project timelines risk mitigation and escalation handling o Lead client communication stakeholder engagement and change management o Support testing strategy SIT UAT training and hypercare post go-live activities o Drive continuous process improvements contribute to solution accelerators and reusable assets Professional Technical Skills o Strong knowledge of Oracle Utilities WAM modules Work Management Asset Management Inventory Supply Chain Preventive Maintenance Inspections Mobile WAM o Prior experience in full-cycle implementation projects at least 2-3 end-to-end WAM projects o Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Framework OUAF o Knowledge of WAM integrations with CC B MWM GIS ERP EBS and third-party systems o Understanding of Asset lifecycle management work scheduling field operations and utility best practices o Strong experience in leading teams and client-facing engagements o Familiarity with utility domain Electric Gas Water Wastewater o Experience with cloud on-prem architecture models is an advantage o Good understanding of SQL data migration and integration mechanisms SOA WebServices o PMP ITIL Oracle Certifications are preferred o Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities o Excellent communication and stakeholder management o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities o Collaboration with global and cross-functional teams Additional Information oMinimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Oracle Utilities WAM -
