Experience 5-6 Years Industry Preference Manufacturing Wood Industry Preferred We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee workplace safety standards and ensure a secure working environment within our manufacturing facility The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in implementing safety protocols for personnel handling various machines and possess hands-on experience in fire safety management The role involves developing and enforcing safety policies conducting training sessions mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with statutory and industry-specific safety standards Roles and ResponsibilitiesSafety Management Compliance Develop implement and continuously monitor safety policies procedures and guidelines in accordance with statutory regulations and industry standards Ensure compliance with OSHA Factory Act and other relevant safety laws Conduct regular audits inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards Machine Operational Safety Implement and monitor safety solutions for employees working on various machines within the manufacturing wood processing environment Ensure machine guarding lockout-tagout LOTO and secure operating procedures SOPs are in place and strictly followed Evaluate and mitigate risk associated with high-speed wood-processing machinery Fire Safety Management Oversee the installation inspection and maintenance of fire safety equipment such as extinguishers hydrants sprinklers and alarms Conduct fire drills emergency response training and evacuation planning Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and liaise with local fire authorities as required Training Awareness Conduct regular safety training toolbox talks induction programs and refresher courses for employees and contractors Promote safety awareness through campaigns posters and internal communication Incident Management Investigate accidents near misses and unsafe acts conditions Prepare detailed incident reports and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Maintain safety records and generate periodic MIS reports Coordination Leadership Collaborate with production maintenance HR and other departments to ensure an integrated approach to safety management Lead safety committees and drive continuous improvement initiatives Liaise with external agencies statutory bodies and auditors regarding safety compliance Documentation Reporting Maintain all documentation related to safety protocols inspections permits and training records Prepare monthly safety performance dashboards and compliance reports for management review Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 19 310 83 - 41 657 23 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Application Question s What safety certifications do you have if any what is your current in-hand salary per month what is your expected salary in LPA What is your Notice Period Work Location In person
