Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Setup Operate CNC Plasma cutting machines as per job order and production schedule Set up machine parameters speed gas pressure feed rate torch height etc according to material thickness and type Load and unload metal sheets on the cutting table safely using lifting equipment Production Quality Read and interpret fabrication drawings and cutting plans Ensure all cut parts meet dimensional and quality standards Perform trial runs and adjust settings for optimal cut quality and minimal wastage Maintain proper nesting and material utilization as per plan Maintenance Housekeeping Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the plasma machine and related equipment Check consumables nozzles electrodes gas etc and replace when required Report any mechanical or electrical issues immediately to maintenance Safety Compliance Follow all safety procedures including PPE usage and secure material handling Ensure work area remains clean organized and hazard-free Comply with company quality safety and ISO standards Documentation Reporting Record daily production data material usage and downtime in the log sheet Assist in maintaining records of maintenance and calibration Coordinate with the production supervisor for daily targets and feedback Continuous Improvement Suggest process improvements to reduce wastage and improve efficiency Participate in periodic training for skill enhancement and safety awareness Skills Competencies Knowledge of CNC Plasma cutting operations and programming basic understanding of G M codes preferred Ability to read and interpret fabrication engineering drawings Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Good understanding of different metals and thicknesses Attention to detail and strong focus on safety and quality Qualification Experience ITI Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication or related trade 2-5 years of experience operating CNC Plasma cutting machines in fabrication or heavy engineering industry Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
