Job Title BBA Faculty Member Department Management Business Administration Location TRIVANDRUM Institution Type Private University Government University Affiliated College Reporting To Head of Department Dean - Faculty of Management Studies Employment Type Full-Time Contractual Visiting Faculty Job Purpose To deliver high-quality instruction and academic support to undergraduate students enrolled in the BBA programme contributing to curriculum development academic research and student mentoring in alignment with the academic goals of the university Key Responsibilities Teaching Instruction Plan and deliver lectures tutorials and workshops in core and elective BBA subjects such as Principles of Management Marketing Management Financial Accounting Business Economics Human Resource Management Business Communication Entrepreneurship Business Law Strategic Management Prepare course materials including syllabi assignments readings and assessments Evaluate student progress through examinations assignments presentations and projects Curriculum Development Participate in the review and development of the BBA curriculum in alignment with university standards and industry needs Incorporate case studies simulations and experiential learning tools Research Publications Engage in academic research and contribute to journals conferences and seminars Guide undergraduate students in research projects and fieldwork Student Mentoring Offer academic advising and career counseling to students Support students in internships industry interactions and placements Administrative Duties Participate in departmental meetings committees and accreditation processes NAAC NBA etc Assist in organizing seminars guest lectures and university events Qualifications Experience Essential Master s degree in Management Business Administration MBA or equivalent from a recognized university UGC-NET qualified if applying to a UGC-affiliated institution Solid communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Ph D in Management or related field Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level Industry experience relevant to the subjects taught Skills Competencies Excellent classroom management and instructional skills Proficient in modern teaching methodologies and digital tools LMS PPTs Google Classroom Zoom MS Teams Strong analytical organizational and mentoring abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment Remuneration As per qualifications and experience Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 400 00 - 500 00 per hour Ability to commute relocate Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience Teaching 5 years Required Language English Required Malayalam Required Hindi Preferred Tamil Preferred License Certification Driving Licence Preferred Willingness to travel 75 Required Work Location In person
