Electronics Incoming Quality Engineer About Clean Electric Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging long life and unrivalled safety We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling DCLC thermal management integrated cell-to-pack CTP architecture and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well The team comprises multiple IIT IIM graduates and industry professionals and we are backed by some of the leading Indian VCs Home Clean Electric New Clean Electric About LinkedIn Role Overview The Electronics Incoming Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of all incoming electronic components including IoT devices Battery Management Systems BMS wiring harnesses and Li-ion cells This role involves performing detailed inspections verifying compliance with specifications and conducting root cause analysis on non-conforming parts The ideal candidate will have robust skills in data management statistical analysis and process improvement to support the continuous improvement of supplier quality Role Description and Key Responsibilities The role involves tasks including but not limited to - Perform thorough incoming inspections of electronic components such as IoT devices BMS wiring harnesses and battery cells to ensure conformance with specifications Conduct detailed visual and electrical testing on components to identify any defects or deviations from design specifications Collaborate with suppliers to communicate non-conformance issues drive corrective actions and ensure adherence to quality standards Conduct root cause analysis RCA and failure analysis FA for any defective components and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results non-conformance reports and corrective actions taken Develop and implement incoming quality control plans and standard operating procedures SOPs to ensure consistent quality standards Use basic data management tools such as Excel or quality management software to track trends in incoming material quality analyze data and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to identify critical components and define key inspection criteria Ensure compliance with industry standards safety protocols and company policies during inspections Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in supplier processes and materials Desired Qualifications and Experience Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering Electrical Engineering Quality Engineering or a related field 1-3 years of experience in quality control or quality engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry Desired Skills and Attributes Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D 5 Whys or Fishbone Diagram Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers Proficiency in data management and analysis using software such as Microsoft Excel or quality control software Location Near Chakan Pune India on-site Pay and Benefits Competitive and above market standard pay will be evaluated based on profile and skills Send your Resume on (phone hidden) Job Type Full-time Application Question s How soon can you join us Please answer in weeks What is your current CTC Please answer in LPA Are you willing to relocate to Pune Are you comfortable with alternate 6 days working week Education Diploma Required Work Location In person
