Job Title Senior Quality Engineer - BIS Compliance Specialist 2 Years Experience Company MVM Industries Industry Home Appliance Manufacturing Location Baddi Himachal Pradesh Employment Type Full time Permanent Department Quality Assurance Regulatory Compliance We are looking for a Quality Engineer with specialization in BIS Bureau of Indian Standards compliance possessing at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of BIS certification processes standards applicable to home appliances and regulatory audits This role will play a key part in ensuring that our products meet all statutory and regulatory requirements alongside maintaining internal quality standards Key Responsibilities Ensure end-to-end compliance with BIS certification requirements for products and processes Coordinate with BIS authorities testing laboratories and certification bodies for approvals and renewals Maintain and update documentation for all BIS-related submissions test reports and licenses Lead internal audits and prepare for external BIS inspections or surveillance audits Collaborate with design production and R D teams to ensure products are developed in line with relevant BIS standards Monitor product and process quality to ensure consistency and compliance with ISO 9001 and BIS norms Drive corrective and preventive actions CAPA in case of non-compliance or customer complaints Provide training and guidance to team members regarding BIS norms documentation and updates in regulations Support implementation of quality tools like RCA FMEA 5 Why etc for continuous improvement Key Skills Competencies Expertise in BIS standards certification procedures and compliance audits - especially related to home appliances Experience working with regulatory bodies and third-party test labs for BIS approvals Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and related documentation Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality inspection techniques Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Good communication and documentation skills Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and 5S is a plus Educational Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical Electronics or Industrial Engineering is required Job Type Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 42 000 00 per month Work Location In person
