ABOUT THE ROLE The Store Leader is a key representative of the 8th Day Way our unique standard of hospitality people-first leadership operational discipline and ethical decision-making POSITION TASKS PRIORITIES Supports and advances the vision mission and values of the company Maintains a quality of excellence as outlined by the 8th Day Way Organizes initiatives and programs into a metrics-driven context using SMART goals Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of the cafe from top to bottom lending support in areas as required Ensures the cafe complies with company policies procedures and operational standards Monitors and analyzes financial statements to identify opportunities for improving profitability and success Is responsible for staffing the cafe and oversees all personnel matters as needed e g conflict resolution manpower planning etc Maintains a clean well-merchandised store in line with visual presentation standards Oversees accurate and timely reporting as well as the infrastructure for the cafe s supply chain needs e g stock levels Stays aware of how the cafe can grow and evolve as a business from the perspectives of leadership staff and customers Conducts formal annual reviews and provides periodic informal feedback for all staff including coaching and developing current and future leaders Is responsible for training staff to ensure operational excellence Works closely with the central team to ensure the overall success of the cafe Participates in local 8th Day leadership meetings as needed Performs other duties as assigned by the owner ACTS AS A SERVANT LEADER Performs any and all duties related to the functioning of the cafe if called upon Leads by example showing preference to others and genuinely caring for people while holding them accountable Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Versatile schedule Schedule Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Work Location In person Application Deadline 15 08 2025 Expected Start Date 15 08 2025
