- Develop and maintain custom solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud using Vanilla JavaScript, SCSS, and SFCC cartridges.
- Implement and manage Page Designer components, content slots, and content assets to create dynamic and reusable digital experiences.
- Apply CSS BEM naming methodology to ensure maintainable and scalable frontend code.
- Work with the dept base SFCC cartridge principles to build and customize project solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to align deliverables with client needs
- Participate in daily stand-ups, providing concise updates and proactively raising concerns regarding deadlines or blockers.
- Ensure code quality and follow best practices for scalable and maintainable development.
- Offer solutions and recommendations during client discussions, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical possibilities.
- Stay up to date with emerging SFCC features, tools, and A/B testing methodologies like Optimizely or SiteSpect.
Preferred candidate profile
- At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Strong ability to write, read, and understand Vanilla JavaScript code.
- Proficiency in SCSS and frontend styling best practices.
- Familiarity with CSS BEM naming methodology.
- Experience working with dept_base SFCC cartridge principles.
- Ability to build reusable Page Designer components.
- Explicit understanding of content slots and content assets in SFCC.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide concise updates and raise timely concerns.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Optimizely or SiteSpect A/B testing tools.
- Ability to suggest solutions proactively based on client requirements.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and distributed team collaboration.
