Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide database support for both production and non-production environments.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code to achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
- Conduct performance tuning, query analysis, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain high-quality, reliable code.
- Collaborate with development teams during design reviews to provide database architecture and optimization recommendations.
- Prepare and execute Unit Tests (UTs) to validate code stability and performance.
- Continuously monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
- Document best practices, maintain runbooks, and contribute to improving database operations and support processes.

Years of Experience:

- 6–9 years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning,



and database support.

Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) preferred.

Skill Set Required:

Must Have:

- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and PL/SQL optimization techniques.
- High-level understanding of Oracle Database Architecture.
- Experience with design, unit testing (UTs), and code quality reviews.

Positive to Have:

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
