Purpose of the Job The Associate Manager – Procurement and Packaging will support the development and management of relationships with raw material vendors and assist in overseeing the procurement of packaging solutions for the brand. This role is essential for ensuring cost-effective procurement processes while maintaining high-quality standards and aligning with the brand's sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Support : Assist in identifying and establishing relationships with current raw material vendors for the wellness market, focusing on quality and sustainability.
- Procurement Assistance : Support the procurement of raw materials for the manufacturing of scented candles, reed diffusers, incense sticks, and new product formats under the brand.
- Packaging Coordination : Help set up a supplier base for primary and secondary packaging, ensuring that packaging solutions align with the brand's sustainability goals.
- Cost Management : Contribute to the implementation of cost-effective procurement processes while maintaining quality standards for all materials and packaging.
- Collaboration : Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance,
and marketing teams to ensure that procurement aligns with production schedules and product specifications.
- Market Research : Assist in researching market trends and innovations in raw materials and packaging to enhance product offerings and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
Prior Experience Required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement and packaging, preferably in the consumer goods or wellness industry.
- Experience in developing supplier relationships and supporting procurement processes is preferred.
