Job Summary As a Finance Director at Travels Group you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our company This role involves strategic planning financial reporting budget management payroll process and compliance with financial regulations Your commitment to integrity reliability and continuous improvement will help us achieve our mission to become the world s most trusted and preferred travel platform Key Responsibilities 1 Financial Operations Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure Manage the budget process and ensure that the budget is aligned with the company s strategic goals Supervise and manage financial department staff including accountants and financial analysts 2 Financial Reporting Coordinate analyze and report the financial performance to management and the Board of Directors Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local state and federal tax returns 3 Compliance and Audit Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards Oversee audit and tax functions coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance 4 Policy Development Develop implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting 5 Strategic Planning Develop and maintain relationships with banking insurance and non- organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities 6 Continuous Improvement Introduce regular performance reviews and feedback mechanisms to identify potential issues early Implement measurable KPIs for all team members to ensure accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications 1 Education Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field Master s degree in Finance or MBA is preferred Certified Public Accountant CPA or Chartered Financial Analyst CFA designation is a plus 2 Experience Proven experience as CFO Finance Director or in a senior financial management role Extensive experience in financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is preferred 3 Skills and Competencies Solid understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles Proficient in financial analysis financial modeling and financial forecasting Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills Ability to strategize and solve complex problems High level of integrity reliability and attention to detail 4 Technical Skills Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications 5 Other Requirements Strong analytical and decision-making abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
