Job Title Health Safety Environment officer Location Kharagpur West Bengal Experience Minimum 1 year in the Waste Management Industry Salary 20K-25K We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable HSO to oversee and implement health safety and environmental policies at our operations in Kharagpur The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the waste management sector and a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor all HSO policies procedures and practices across the site Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented Maintain records related to safety incidents inspections and compliance Ensure workers and supervisors follow proper waste handling and disposal protocols Deliver HSO training and toolbox talks to ground staff Conduct site audits safety inspections and safety drills regularly Liaison with local authorities regarding safety and environmental concerns Investigate any accidents or near-misses and report findings Key Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in Health Safety Workplace role in the Waste Management industry Degree Diploma in Environmental Science Industrial Safety or related field Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations e g Factories Act Hazardous Waste Rules etc Good communication and documentation skills Ability to work on-ground and manage a team for safety compliance Job Type Full-time Joining Immediate Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
