Role - QAQC - Metallurgy Engineer
Location: Hyderabad, India

Position Summary: The QA QC Metallurgy Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and integrity of metallurgical operations on projects, ensuring that all metallurgical processes, materials, and equipment comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements as per codes ASME Sec-IX, Sec A/B/C/D, Sec-VIII Div 1 &2, API-620, and API-650. This role involves reviewing metallurgical procedures, performing inspections, and ensuring that metallurgical work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout the production, construction, and maintenance phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:
- Develop and implement quality assurance (QAPs), WPS and control procedures, and witnessing the material testing at metallurgical laboratories.
- Ensure that all works are carried out according to industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.




- Conduct inspections and audits of materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and assess the quality of materials in mechanical systems.
- Testing and Inspections:
- Perform regular inspections and tests on components materials.
- Identify and document defects or non-conformance issues, working with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Ensure materials undergo corrosion, material and mechanical inspection, material performance and reliability check.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, test results, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results.
- Ensure all quality documentation is up to date and accessible for review by internal and external parties.
- Ensure that all non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly tracked and resolved.
