Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience:
3-5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, managing complex and large-scale database environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Database versions (e.g., Oracle 12c, 19c, 23ai).
- Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, SQL query optimization, and database diagnostics.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN.
- Familiarity with PL/SQL scripting, Shell scripting, and automation tools.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and third-party monitoring solutions.
- Analytical Skills:
Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve database issues.
- Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with IT teams and business stakeholders.
