Highlights 1 Availability Expected availability should be within 1-2 weeks of notice period 2 Selected candidates will be working in India daytime 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM 3 Fully Remote India Job Summary We are seeking experienced SAP BASIS Experts Database Administrators to join our team for a long-term engagement This is a remote position aligned to India business hours The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP BASIS experience with deep expertise in system performance tuning installations upgrades and cross-system integrations Key Responsibilities Installations Upgrades Perform database upgrades and SAP system installations using SWPM and SUM tools Manage all OS-level activities related to BASIS administration Handle SUM launches resolve SUM-related issues and oversee each SUM upgrade step with clarity System Performance Troubleshooting Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues using SQL trace process-level diagnostics and system usage validations Perform load analysis using CPU and RAM utilization metrics address long-running jobs and investigate network latency issues Fine-tune system performance via parameter optimization static dynamic and security parameters with associated risk assessment Integration Connectivity Configure and troubleshoot DP Agents SAP Cloud Connectors SAC agents and other HECOTHER tools Manage NetWeaver 750 installations configurations certificate renewals and Single Sign-On SSO implementations Perform Web Dispatcher integrations and resolve backend system connection issues parameter mismatches and network failures Cross-Team Collaboration Client Interaction Lead and participate in customer and bridge calls ensuring prompt resolution and explicit communication Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations upgrades and performance tuning tasks Ensure smooth coordination with infrastructure security application and networking teams as needed Required Skills Experience Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration Strong expertise in SWPM SUM and OS-level activities Excellent understanding of performance tuning troubleshooting and load analysis Experience with parameter optimization risk analysis and security settings Proficiency in DP Agent configuration SAP Cloud Connector upgrades and related tools Hands-on knowledge of NetWeaver system installations SSO configurations and Web Dispatcher troubleshooting Excellent communication skills for effective customer engagement and collaboration Preferred Qualifications SAP Certification in BASIS Administration preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with cloud environments and hybrid SAP landscapes Experience working in support models with international clients
