The Accounts Manager will oversee the complete finance and accounting function for the manufacturing unit This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations ensuring statutory compliance monitoring financial performance and supporting management with accurate reporting and financial insights The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manufacturing finance cost accounting taxation and ERP systems Key Responsibilities1 Financial Accounting Reporting Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL AP AR payroll and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Ensure timely closing of books and accuracy in financial data Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis 2 Manufacturing Cost Accounting Track and analyse production costs wastage overhead allocation and BOM costing Monitor inventory valuation stock movement and reconciliations Support production and procurement teams with cost insights and variance analysis 3 Taxation Compliance Ensure compliance with GST TDS income tax and other statutory requirements Handle tax returns audits and assessments with relevant authorities Liaise with statutory auditors internal auditors and consultants 4 Budgeting Financial Planning Lead annual budgeting and periodic financial forecasting Analyse financial performance vs budget and provide actionable recommendations Support management with financial insights for decision-making 5 Process Improvement Controls Implement and strengthen internal controls policies and SOPs Review and optimise accounting processes for efficiency Ensure ERP Accounting system accuracy and updates 6 Team Leadership Supervise and mentor the accounting team Allocate responsibilities review performance and ensure effective workload management Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications Requirements Bachelor s Master s degree in Commerce Finance or related field CA ICWA preferred but not mandatory 5-10 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Robust knowledge of GST TDS statutory compliance and financial reporting standards Experience with ERP systems SAP Busy Tally Prime etc Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks Job Type Full-time Pay 300 000 00 - 480 000 00 per year Work Location In person
