Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Pune, India. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Accurately dispense medications and provide expert advice to patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical products and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards, including local regulations in Pune
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures for medication storage and handling
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff on proper procedures and customer service standards
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and financial transactions
- Stay updated on current medications, industry trends, and best practices in pharmacy management
- Participate in medication therapy management programs to improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) required
- Valid pharmacist license and current registration with the Pharmacy Council of India
- Minimum 5 + years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and inventory systems
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and side effects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
