A Day in the Life
The Global Pricing and Contracting IT team at Medtronic partners with commercial groups to develop AI and analytics-driven systems that improve pricing and contracting strategies. These tools generate insights to help maximize revenue, expand market share, and support global go-to-market efforts. The Sr. IT Developer designs, builds, and supports internal CPQ/CLM applications that enable U.S. P&C; capabilities. The role translates business needs into technical solutions, leads design discussions, develops and tests code, and improves system performance, reliability, and scalability.



It also promotes development best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and strong architecture patterns while troubleshooting issues and supporting upgrades and integrations. The position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, acting as a bridge between P&C; and IT to ensure technology and data support business decisions. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, documenting solutions, mentoring developers, improving development processes, and contributing to architectural direction while working in agile teams to deliver technology solutions that support business outcomes and patient impact.
