Position Finance Lead Head - Finance and Accounts Procurement Location Hyderabad India Experience 12-15 Years Industry IT Consulting IT Services Preferred Software Exposure SAP - Execution Mandatory Implementation Desirable Employment Type Full-Time About the Role - We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Finance Lead to head our Finance Accounts Procurement Legal and Compliance functions This leadership role is pivotal in driving the company s financial discipline operational excellence and sustainable growth As a key member of the executive team the Finance Lead will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors providing insights that shape financial strategy optimize resources and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in financial management taxation governance procurement and business partnering within the IT consulting or services domain Key Responsibilities - 1 Strategic Financial Leadership Provide strategic financial leadership to support the company s growth profitability and long-term objectives Partner with the CEO and leadership team on financial planning forecasting and strategic initiatives Drive long-term business planning annual budgets and rolling forecasts Offer financial insights to support business expansion new service lines and geographic diversification 2 Financial Management Reporting Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial operations ensuring accuracy transparency and compliance Lead preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Indian statutory requirements Ensure revenue recognition aligns with IT services contracts fixed-price T M milestone-based Drive efficient working capital management including cash flow treasury operations and receivables payables Lead monthly quarterly and annual closures ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis Develop and present MIS reports dashboards and board presentations to stakeholders 3 Contracts Commercials Procurement Oversight Review structure and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to safeguard financial legal and tax interests Collaborate with business and delivery teams to evaluate financial implications of commercial terms Supervise and direct the procurement function ensuring alignment with financial controls governance standards and cost optimization strategies 4 Taxation Compliance Oversee Direct and Indirect Taxation Income Tax GST etc ensuring accuracy and timely compliance Lead Transfer Pricing strategy documentation and compliance for domestic and international operations Ensure adherence to statutory filing requirements audits and regulatory submissions in India and relevant jurisdictions Liaise with statutory auditors tax advisors and regulatory bodies to resolve complex issues and maintain strong compliance standards 5 Risk Management Governance Establish and continuously improve internal controls compliance frameworks and risk mitigation policies Implement robust corporate governance practices across finance and procurement functions Identify financial and operational risks and proactively design mitigation strategies Ensure ethical standards and governance protocols are embedded into all financial and procurement activities Desired Skills Competencies - Strong expertise in SAP for daily financial operations implementation knowledge is an added advantage Proven experience leading the finance function as Finance Head Lead Senior Manager in a mid-sized organization Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities in a fast-paced environment Robust project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently Exceptional analytical communication and presentation skills Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence business decisions Experience in preparing and presenting MIS reports dashboards and board-level presentations Qualifications - Chartered Accountant CA - Mandatory 12-15 years of progressive experience in Finance Accounts with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Prior experience in IT consulting IT services or technology sectors strongly preferred Demonstrated success in budgeting forecasting financial planning and scaling operations during growth stages Experience in leading procurement commercial negotiations and financial governance at an organizational level Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
