Raj Consultance is seeking a Medical Biller with a strong background in medical billing and coding This position will be responsible for the collection of past due medical bills from patients and processing payments The position will also be responsible for collecting and processing payments for services rendered The position will report to the billing manager Essential Duties and Responsibilites Collect past due medical bills from patients Process payments cash check credit cards for patients Maintain patient files Answer patient calls and direct them to the correct department Review past due medical bills and prepare payment plans for patients who do not pay their billings in a timely manner Ensure that all billing procedures are followed and follow all established procedures to ensure that our process is effective and accurate Preform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Accounting or Executive Directorof the Operations Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to plan ahead for future needs and prioritize tasks based on ugency Strong work ethic with ability to work independantly or as part of a team Strong understanding of medical billing procedures and practices including CPT ICD VHEI coding insurnace verification collection practices data entry procedures computer knowledge and proficiency in using an electronic medical records system e g ECW Tebra Athena etc Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required for this position Job Type Full-time Base Pay 25 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off
