Job Title Optimization Engineer Entry-Level - Glass Industry Department Production Process Optimization Location Angamaly Job Type Full-Time Level Entry Fresher Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and analytical Optimization Engineer to join our team in the glass manufacturing sector This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates in Mathematics or Civil Engineering who have a solid foundation in basic mathematical concepts and a keen interest in industrial processes You will assist in improving production efficiency minimizing waste and ensuring optimal material usage especially in the glass cutting and processing stages Key Responsibilities Analyze glass sheet dimensions and cutting patterns to optimize material usage and minimize waste Assist in the development and implementation of optimization algorithms for glass cutting stacking and packaging Use mathematical models and logic to support production planning and inventory control Collaborate with production and quality teams to understand operational challenges and propose improvements Prepare regular reports on material yield efficiency and scrap rates Support the integration of optimization tools into production software and machinery Maintain accurate records of optimization data and process changes Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mathematics Civil Engineering or a related field Freshers or candidates with 0-1 years of experience are welcome Strong basic mathematics skills algebra geometry logical reasoning Interest in production processes materials optimization or industrial engineering Ability to learn quickly and work with data and technical tools Good communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel familiarity with AutoCAD or optimization software is a plus training can be provided Preferred But Not Required Familiarity with concepts like linear optimization nesting algorithms or cutting stock problems Knowledge of production environments especially in glass manufacturing or construction materials Basic understanding of material properties structural behavior or industrial standards in civil or glass industry applications Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 12 000 00 - 16 000 00 per month Education Diploma Preferred Experience glass optimization 1 year Preferred Location Angamali Kerala Preferred Work Location In person
