Project Role Software Development Engineer Project Role Description Analyze design code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients Perform maintenance enhancements and or development work Must have skills Manufacturing Engineering MES Good to have skills NA Minimum 3 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary A Siemens Opcenter Discrete developer is responsible for designing customizing and implementing MES solutions for discrete manufacturing using Opcenter Execution Discrete They develop production workflows integrate with shop-floor systems and ensure alignment with manufacturing business logic and process requirements Must Have skillset Siemens OpCenter Execution Discrete Roles Responsibilities The ideal candidate for the role has is -Design develop and customize Opcenter applications using Siemens Opcenter software tools and technologies -Experience with Visual Studio for writing code to meet requirements which need customizations -Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and development tasks -Develop and implement integration solutions to connect MOM with other enterprise systems such as ERP PLM and SCADA -Conduct unit testing debugging and performance tuning of Opcenter and MOM applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards -Maintain comprehensive documentation of code development processes and system configurations provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Opcenter and MOM applications -Ability to drive integration design and configurations with multiple systems -E2E design development experience -Solid experience in Siemens Opcenter MES architecture -Camstar enterprise platform Opcenter MD D packaged solutions including Camstar Opcenter configuration and installation activities Preferred Skillset addition to above -Support and troubleshooting in execution of Discrete industries Professional Technical Skills - Must Have Skills Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineer System MES and Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies - Experience with application design and architecture principles - Familiarity with programming languages relevant to the role - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently Additional Information - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - A 15 years full time education is required 15 years full time education
