Department Category - Crop Care Job posted on May 06 2025 Employment type AS-IN-OR Do you want to be part of a fast-growing tech startup building innovative and sustainable technology in the Agriculture sector and working on the projects that define the larger outcome for generation About AgroStar AgroStar is India s foremost AgTech start-up with a mission of HelpingFarmersWin Shardul and Sitanshu started AgroStar with a vision to solve two of the biggest problems in Indian agriculture - Lack of guidance for scientific sustainable farming limited access to great quality farm inputs Today AgroStar provides full-stack solutions to millions of farmers across 11 Indian states via an omnichannel approach Along the journey we have built India s largest agronomy advisory center a highly engaged digital farmer network with over 9 5 million users and a retail network of 8500 stores These technology-enabled channels work together to help farmers produce better and achieve higher price realizations by providing appropriate advice timely input delivery and output market linkages In March 2022 we acquired INI Farms and with this we are now exporting our farmer s produce to over 20 countries across the globe With massive synergies across the value chain to unlock we are excited about our next exponential growth phase while being more mission-focused than ever HelpingFarmersWin Backed by prominent investors and partners we are rapidly growing our full-stack platform and access to credit The Role We are looking for a seasoned Product Management leader to drive the growth of AgroStar s Crop Protection portfolio across India This is a high-impact role for someone who understands the CP landscape deeply and is excited by the challenge of scaling the portfolio to 1 000 Cr by FY30 The ideal candidate is commercially astute has strong strategic and execution skills and is confident operating in cross-functional leadership environments Own and drive the end-to-end strategy for the Crop Protection category Insecticides Herbicides Fungicides with a clear focus on scalable revenue growth Lead portfolio planning pricing strategy lifecycle management and margin optimization Identify product gaps and opportunities and drive current product introductions in collaboration with Regulatory Marketing and Field Sales teams Build and execute go-to-market GTM strategies that enhance product visibility farmer adoption and channel engagement Monitor and optimize portfolio contribution by focusing on high-potential products and addressing slow-moving products Lead market analysis segmentation and farmer insights research to guide strategic and tactical decisions Track and respond to industry trends regulatory changes and competitor activity shaping proactive responses Collaborate closely with Sales Marketing and Regional teams to ensure strategy execution aligns with ground realities Design and deliver product and market training to Sales and Field teams to ensure alignment confidence and effective product push Proficient in business analytics Excel PowerPoint and stakeholder communication Play a key role in strengthening AgroStar s brand equity in the Crop Protection ecosystem Qualifications we look for 8-10 years of experience in Crop Protection Product or Category or Crop Management with a proven stint in portfolio growth Experience in Product Management Marketing at Head Office roles within the Crop Protection industry only Deep domain knowledge of Insecticides Herbicides Fungicides and associated regulatory and commercial dynamics Proven track record of managing large portfolios launching new products and driving sustainable revenue growth Strong data orientation with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint - must be able to independently analyze data and present strategic recommendations Sound understanding of product lifecycle pricing strategies market development and GTM execution Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - should be able to confidently engage with senior leadership High ownership execution-focused mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and operate in fast-paced environments Exposure to PAN India markets and diverse agri-climatic zones is a must Most importantly we are looking for passionate intrapreneurs who want to work at the grass root level drive impact in India s biggest sector Help Farmers Win
