Job Role Sr Statistician Senior Data Scientist - Python SQL Experience 5-7 years Domain R D Analytics Cosmetics FMCG preferred but not mandatory Location Mumbai Hybrid Job Type Full-Time Permanent Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Statistician Senior Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in Python solid statistical knowledge and the ability to independently handle end-to-end EDA for R D projects The role involves working with various types of datasets and delivering insights through clean analysis visualizations predictive modeling and presentation-ready summaries This is a Mid-senior role where the person is expected to take ownership work independently and ensure high-quality client-ready output Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end statistical analysis data cleaning EDA statistical tests insights reports slides Perform in-depth statistical EDA including correlations distribution checks variable transformations group comparisons non-parametric tests etc Build clear visualizations boxplots violin plots heatmaps scatterplots KDE etc using Python Conduct advanced statistical tests ANOVA Mann-Whitney Kruskal-Wallis t-test correlation regression etc Build and evaluate predictive models using Python scikit-learn and support model testing within existing pipelines Create presentation-ready summary slides that are easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders Execute SQL queries to extract filter and aggregate data basic-intermediate Maintain structured documentation of analysis assumptions decisions and results Ensure high-quality accurate and timely delivery with minimal supervision Required Skills 5-7 years of hands-on experience in statistical data analysis Strong understanding of statistics distributions hypothesis testing regression non-parametric methods DoE is a plus Proficient in Python pandas numpy scipy matplotlib seaborn Valuable knowledge of SQL SELECT JOIN GROUP BY filtering Experience in predictive modeling using scikit-learn classification
