Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Apply comprehensive knowledge of Analytical Quality Control tools and methodologies such as ISO standards, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), QC Story, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to improve maintenance processes and ensure operational excellence.

Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on mechanical power presses, electrical overhead travelling (EOT) cranes, and other heavy machinery ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with manufacturing presses, ensuring accurate functionality and safety compliance.

Conduct thorough checks and corrective adjustments to maintain parallelism and perpendicularity of presses to meet production standards and quality requirements.

Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements related to plant safety, equipment maintenance, and environmental standards.

Oversee preventive maintenance programs aimed at maximizing uptime,



reducing mean time to repair (MTTR), and increasing mean time between failures (MTBF) particularly for tryout and spotting presses, CNC machines, and essential utilities such as overhead cranes, diesel generator sets, compressors, and forklifts.

Plan, control, and monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts to support uninterrupted production activities and to reduce equipment downtime.

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) autonomous and planned maintenance pillar activities, facilitating team engagement, root cause analysis, and corrective action deployments.

Collaborate across departments to align maintenance strategies with overall plant objectives, to improve equipment reliability, cost efficiency, and manufacturing quality.

Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, safety awareness, and adherence
