Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Labour Welfare Officer to manage employee welfare activities, grievance handling, retention initiatives, hostel and canteen management, and employee engagement programs. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills and be comfortable working with a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement employee retention initiatives and work towards reducing attrition below 5%.
* Attend and resolve employee grievances through the grievance desk.
* Monitor and track absenteeism and long leave.
* Conduct training and awareness sessions on company policies and procedures.
* Collect and submit hostel long-leave plans at least 15 days in advance for the following month.
* Conduct committee meetings and maintain proper records and documentation.
* Promote employee referral incentives to improve recruitment and retention.
* Provide counselling and follow-up support for employees with continuous absenteeism.
* Manage hostel and canteen activities, including housekeeping, grievances, and employee requirements.
* Organize indoor and outdoor games for hostellers to build employee engagement and relationships.
* Organize medical camps such as eye, blood, health, and dental camps.
* Coordinate festival celebrations and local outing programs for hostel girls.
* Source recent joiners through employee and hosteller referrals.
* Maintain regular communication with employees and address welfare-related concerns.
* Coordinate with HR and management teams to implement employee welfare initiatives.
