The Oracle eAM Consultant will be responsible for support of the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management module within an EBS R12.2 workplace. You will act as the bridge between maintenance operations and IT, ensuring that asset lifecycles, preventive maintenance schedules, and work order flows are technically sound and aligned with business financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the functional setup of eAM, including Asset Groups, Areas, Departments, Maintenance Bill of Materials (BOM), and Asset Hierarchy.
- Maintenance Strategy:
Design and configure Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, Meter readings, and Condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Business Process Mapping:
Conduct workshops to map "As-Is" maintenance processes to "To-Be" Oracle eAM workflows, focusing on Work Request and Work Order lifecycles.
- Cross-Module Integration:
Ensure seamless data flow between eAM and other EBS modules:
- Inventory:
For spare parts management and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) stores.
- Purchasing:
For external services and non-stock item procurement.
- Finance/Fixed Assets:
For cost tracking, capitalization, and maintenance accounting.
- Human Resources:
For resource/craft availability and labor costing.
- Technical Liaison:
Collaborate with technical teams to develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) specific to maintenance needs.
- Support & Training:
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for production issues. Develop user manuals and conduct "Train-the-Trainer" sessions for maintenance engineers and planners.
