Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Assistant Manager for Front Axle and Hydraulics in tractor manufacturing within Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of the front axle and hydraulics design, development, and production processes. This includes coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications meet structural integrity, durability, and performance standards while aligning with manufacturing capabilities.

You will lead initiatives to optimize hydraulic systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability in tractor operation. Active involvement in troubleshooting, quality assurance, and continuous improvement projects will be key to your role.

Your responsibilities extend to collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance departments to guarantee seamless integration of front axle and hydraulic subsystems in tractors. You will also monitor compliance with safety and environmental regulations relevant to tractor manufacturing.

Key deliverables include:




Development and validation of front axle systems that meet technical and safety standards.

Design and enhancement of hydraulic components and systems tailored to farm machinery needs.

Implementation of cutting-edge solutions to improve system robustness and cost-effectiveness.

Contributing to the strategic roadmap for product enhancements within the Farm Division.

Leading design reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning related to front axle and hydraulics.

Ensuring documentation and change management adhere to industry best practices and internal quality standards.

Supporting supplier selection and evaluation related to axle and hydraulic assemblies.

Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
