Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance to ensure smooth process integration and adherence to project timelines.
Analyse current manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste elimination consistent with lean manufacturing principles.
Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues proactively to minimise downtime and maintain product consistency.
Implement and monitor process controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Work with suppliers to evaluate and select process-related components and materials, ensuring supplier performance meets company expectations on quality and delivery.
Manage contract agreements and service level agreements (SLAs) related to process engineering activities,
ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Contribute to innovation by exploring new technologies, automation solutions, and sustainability-driven process enhancements that align with Mahindra's leadership competencies.
Prepare detailed documentation and reports on process performance, deviations, and improvement initiatives for leadership review.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and team members fostering an setting of continuous learning and collaboration.
Maintain a keen understanding of automotive industry trends, competitor processes, and regulatory changes to anticipate shifts and leverage business opportunities.
