Job Title - SQA Engineer QA Automation Engineer - 2 to 4 Years - Chandigarh Summary - We are seeking a skilled SQA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through robust testing strategies and quality assurance practices This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing across web mobile and backend systems along with solid knowledge of test planning defect management and Agile methodologies You will work closely with development teams to promote quality-driven engineering and continuous improvement Location - Chandigarh Hybrid Key Responsibilities - Design and execute comprehensive test plans test strategies and test cases covering functional regression integration and performance testing Perform manual and automated testing across web mobile and backend applications Build maintain and enhance automation scripts using Selenium Cypress or Playwright Conduct UI testing to ensure usability consistency and user experience standards Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured Identify log track and validate defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes Promote quality best practices including Test-Driven Development TDD and Behavior-Driven Development BDD Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality and testing perspective Generate detailed test reports metrics and dashboards to communicate quality status and test coverage Maintain QA documentation test artifacts and best practice guidelines Requirements - 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or QA Automation roles Strong understanding of software testing principles methodologies and life cycles Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver Cypress or Playwright Proficiency in Java with working knowledge of HTML5 XML and SQL DB2 Experience in API testing of RESTful services using Postman
